Critical
I worry about my lack of critical faculties,
particularly when I attend a magnificent, brilliant, spectacular evening at the theatre such as the Premiere of "Love Never Dies", and leave thrilled not only by the music and the singing, but the extraordinary staging, only to find, on reading the critical reviews the following morning that Andrew Lloyd Webber's latest was nothing to write home about... Mind you, Graham Norton enjoyed it, so did Sir Michael Caine and Michael Winner and Eileen Atkins. They told me so. So there...

Since when did the critics know anything about entertainment, or for that matter the newspaper columnists who waste column inches on slating anyone and everyone who dares to put their head above the parapet in any form of broadcasting! It’s all a matter of taste, and some people don’t have any!
