Terry's thoughts...

"Weekend Wogan" goes into the first bend, and I'm bound to say that I'm thrilled at its reception. The reviews I've seen have been favourable, not to say flattering. There will always be begrudgers of course, but you can't please all the people all the time. Indeed, it seems that the more marked the rise, the greater the fall.

Rising from the Ashes… and my bed of pain

I hope that those of you listening at home to "Weekend Wogan" on Radio 2 had as much fun as we did in the BBC Radio Theatre last Sunday, Valentines Day.

Thanks to an assembled multitude of Togs, Tygs and refugees from the Home for the Bewildered, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and anticipation, which was remarkable since most of the gang had been queueing in the bitter wind that blows around Broadcasting House since about 7.30 in the morning.
